"I believe...

that we are not objects to be fixed. That we are already perfect, and can choose to exude our beauty in every moment."

Kat Sloan Feeney

Hi, I'm Kat Sloan Feeney!

I believe that all women (and men!) deserve to feel fantastic in their body. I believe in healing from the inside out; and that we are not objects to be fixed.

I believe that there is no one size fits all ideal for how we *should* look or feel. I believe that your mental health is as important as your physical health, and so all of this restrictive dieting we've been taught for years has actually set us back from achieving what we really desire! It creates the yo-yo cycle leaving you trapped. And... zaps the joy in food and exercise.

I believe that beauty is an energy that we transmit; it does not come from make-up and age defying serums.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't want to feel better in your body! You do deserve to feel absolutely gorgeous, energized, healthy, sexy, whatever resonates with YOU.

If you want to eat better and achieve the body of your dreams, but you find the dieting industry overwhelming, struggle with your relationship to food and your body, and you don't want to spend hours in the kitchen preparing fancy meals, then this is for you.

I am here to help women heal their relationship with food and feel great in their body.

I absolutely love empowering women to reach their biggest goals. As an athlete myself, I work with a lot of athletes, but not exclusively! I'm not super competitive, I just really enjoy sports and while they are what I do, but who I am is a caring, compassionate, inspirational woman who truly sees the beauty in others.

I haven’t always had a great relationship with food and my body. My story began when I was in my early 20’s. I was going through some life transitions (new city, new apartment, new job) and found my escape as I immersed in the world of health and wellness. I became obsessed with learning, but also found myself overwhelmed and confused. Everything that I read whether in magazines, on blogs, or books was hyper-focused on restrictive diets. Everything was focussed more on being skinny versus being healthy and vibrant.

These messages and the anxieties I was feeling triggered a pattern of self-destruction. I followed every rule, heavily restricted calories, and ramped up my running. What I realized was that everything was about being skinny and not so much on health and performance. After struggling with digestive issues, low energy, lack of focus, and a weak immune system, I decided I had to find another way.

Today I am proud to say that I am the healthiest I have ever been and helping women reach their goals in the healthiest way possible. Personally, my victory has been crossing the finish line at an ultra marathon feeling strong and with energy to spare!

And, that’s why I do what I do. I believe that every woman deserves to feel absolutely sexy and confident in her skin.

Where was I going wrong?

Well, like many of you, I had been immersed in food blogs and diet magazines telling me how I should eat. In an attempt to be healthy, I had lost perspective on how to properly fuel myself for endurance and recovery. I was trying so hard to do everything right, reach and maintain a healthy weight, and get the perfect body.

But, I ended up obsessed with the number on the scale, reaching a certain BMI, and with a lot of fear and anxiety around food. I was no longer in touch with how my body felt, but rather what I saw in the mirror. And, I was constantly comparing myself to other women! Comparisonitis anyone?

I realized I wasn't alone in this...

I realized I wasn't alone in this. It's so easy to become absorbed in the diet culture and completely lose perspective. There is so much information thrown around on a daily basis - it's hard to know what matters and if you are doing it right.

That's why I'm here. It's been my mission ever since that race to learn what is needed to FUEL your body for endurance sports so that you are fully supported, energized, and recover quickly!

To stop struggling with fatigue, hitting a wall, and falling over at the finish line.

And.. most importantly, so that you are happy and able to do the things you loooooove.
